Eskimos release Keith Williams

Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos today released rookie import defensive back Keith Williams.

In six games, Williams recorded 36 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, one interception and one pass knockdown.

The Eskimos (5-3) travel to Calgary to face the Stampeders (5-3) on Monday, September 1st at McMahon Stadium. The two teams meet again in the Labour Day Rematch Friday, September 5th at Commonwealth Stadium. Kickoff at 7pm.
