Beef schedule BBQ

Omaha, NE- A BBQ sponsored by the Omaha BEEF that had been planned for Wednesday evening, June 18th, has been put on hold as the team plans for travel to Billings, Montana for a round one UIF playoff game.

The event, to take place during the College World Series, will be held at a location close to Rosenblatt Stadium. The BBQ will be rescheduled for later this week with notification of the new date and time to be sent to the Omaha BEEF fans.

In addition to the College World Series BBQ, the Omaha BEEF will be holding their 2008 team awards banquet in the coming days. The banquet will take place at Heidelberg's in Omaha. A tentative date of June 29th has been set, but is subject to change as the UIF playoffs progress and travel schedules are set.

Attending the awards banquet will be the players, coaches, Prime Dancers, office staff, Rump Roasters and special guests. All BEEF fans are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony. The final date and time will be announced as soon as it is determined.

The Omaha BEEF opened their 2008 home season versus the Bloomington Extreme on March 15, 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
