Leos add Kahlil Hill to practice roster

(Vancouver) The BC Lions announced today that they have signed import receiver Kahlil Hill to the team's practice roster.

Hill entered the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2005 and appeared in a total of eight games over two seasons. In 2006, Hill was a late cut of the Jacksonville Jaguars before rejoining the Ti-Cats.

After being released by Hamilton late in the 2006 season, he was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders and appeared in three games for the 'Riders last season as well as the West Division Semi-Final versus Calgary. Through 11 career games, Hill has recorded 20 catches for 242 yards and one TD.

A sixth-round draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons (184th overall in 2002), Hill had a stellar collegiate career at the University of Iowa where he won the Mosi Tatupu Award as the NCAA's top special-teams performer in 2001. He also had stops in New Orleans, Detroit and Buffalo before landing in Hamilton.
