Scotiabank to accept donations for Ackles dream project

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club and one of its most loyal partners, Scotiabank, announced today that the financial institution is accepting donations at all of its B.C. branches to help make Bob Ackles' vision of creating a British Columbia Football Hall of Fame a reality.

"Scotiabank has been an outstanding partner of the BC Lions Football Club since 1993 and a huge supporter of our league. It comes as no surprise that they would offer this service to everyone who wants to ensure Bob's dream of a Football Hall of Fame for British Columbia comes true," said Lions vice president, business, George Chayka.

Donations can be made by cash, VISA or cheque. All cheques should be made payable to the BC Lions Football Club. While a bank receipt will be provided for donations upon request, tax receipts will not be issued.

Drawing on pride, decades of tradition, passion and spirit of excellence, the BC Lions Football Club seeks to touch the lives of our community in a positive way.
