Former Washington Redskins, Utah State Star Ade Jimoh Scheduled To Attend Utah Blaze Combine

SALT LAKE CITY - Former Washington Redskins and Utah State University defensive back Ade Jimoh is scheduled to attend the Utah Blaze Player Combine, Friday, Oct. 17 at the Spence Eccles Field House on the campus of the University of Utah.

Over the past five years, Jimoh played for both the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Bears. In four seasons with the Redskins, Jimoh (6-1, 187) played in 63 games and recorded 62 tackles and five pass deflections.

At Utah State, Jimoh played in 34 games, including 31 straight starts. He recorded 142 career tackles, 19 pass break-ups and four interceptions. In 2000, he was a Second-Team All-Big West Conference selection.

Jimoh will be available to the media following the combine, which is scheduled to end at noon.

Players interested in participating in the combine can register at the Spence Eccles Field House beginning at 8 a.m. Friday morning. The combine will begin at 9 a.m.

Participants will be tested in the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, and in upper- and lower-body strength and explosiveness.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver.

Participants should dress in workout gear and wear grass cleats (the surface is FieldTurf). No metal spikes will be allowed.
