Old Dutch Foods has partnered with Wal-Mart to donate a portion of every Old Dutch product sold in Wal-Mart stores across the province to the Never Alone Foundation. The Winnipeg Football Club will have its players appearing at five different Manitoba locations beginning October 24 to sign autographs and meet with fans in support of the initiative.
"The leadership and sense of community that both Wal-Mart and Old Dutch have displayed to support the Never Alone Foundation and the fight against cancer is quite significant," said Lyle Bauer, founder of the Never Alone Foundation and president/CEO of the Winnipeg Football Club. "All of us who have battled this disease truly appreciate their commitment."
Blue Bombers players will be at two different locations this evening. Starting quarterback Kevin Glenn will join rookie-of-the-year candidate Brendon LaBatte at the Wal-Mart location in St. Vital between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Defensive tackle Jon Oosterhuis, meanwhile, will be visiting the Wal-Mart store in Selkirk from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The tour wraps up on October 30 when LaBatte and fellow offensive lineman Dan Goodspeed will be on hand at the Wal-Mart in Transcona from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
