River City Rage 1st tryout for 2009 season announced

The River City Rage have announced their first open tryout for the upcoming 2009 season Saturday December 6th, at the The Game located in Glen Carbon, Illinois. The game is located at 101 The Game Drive in Glen Carbon, Illinois 62034. Registration will start at 8am, with the combine starting promptly at 9am.

Registration fees are $40 if pre-registered by Dec 1st, and $55 after or the day of. Cash only is accepted the day of, and all athletes may call the Rage front office (636-946-RAGE) to pre register or pay by credit card.

This will be a combine-style tryout with the following tested: height, weight, 40 yard dash, 225 bench x reps, vertical jump, and pro agility (right and left). Additional position-specific drills will be conducted. Tryouts will take place on artificial turf. No metal spikes or metal-tipped cleats allowed.
