Registration for the open player tryout begins at 11:30 a.m. with the workout beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. The Multiplex is located at 18909 South Miles Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, 44128. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
The cost of participating in the open player tryout is $65 pre-registered and $75 for registering the day of the event. To pre-register, interested participants must pay by credit card by visiting www.clevelandgladiators.com and completing the appropriate form. The pre-registration deadline is Wednesday, October 8 at 5:00 p.m. Cash or money order will be the only accepted payment the day of the tryout. Both fees are non-refundable.
Gladiators Head Coach MIKE WILPOLT and his staff will be evaluating all players in attendance.
Players will be tested in the 40-yard dash, short shuttle and 225-pound bench press. In addition, players will be evaluated in a variety of one-on-one position skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
** To be considered for pre-registration, the Gladiators must receive payment and the online form by Wednesday, October 8 at 5:00 p.m.
** The open player tryout will be conducted on Astroturf and field turf, so participants are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear (NO SPIKES).
** Only water will be provided
** A trainer will be on hand for emergencies only - not for player taping.
** There is no full-contact, thus, no need for shoulder pads
** Kickers will not be evaluated during this tryout.
